International students who taking classes online must leave the United States

H1-B visas have already been enacted to provide employment for US citizens. This time, the Donald Trump government also took a firm stand against foreign students studying in the United States.

He informed that those who are currently taking online classes while studying for F-1 and M-1 visas, their visa to stay in America will be revoked. All those students have to go back to their respective countries and take online classes.

Due to the Corona crisis, most of the US universities are currently offering online classes. US President Donald Trump has been questioning about it  for the past few days.

Although the number of corona cases in the country is increasing rapidly, he said that all educational institutions should start classes on campus as before by next autumn.

In a statement issued Monday, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said in a statement that "complete online courses from F-1 and M-1 visas cannot be conducted in this country."

If you want to read online, you have to leave here. Otherwise, the name has to be registered in a place where classes can be held from physical presence. Otherwise, the visas of those students will be revoked.

If the Corona crisis does not end in the coming autumn, what will happen to students, most US educational institutions have not yet announced. However, several organizations, including Harvard, are keen to continue taking classes online.

According to Harvard, only 40 percent of students will be allowed to return to campus. However, even if they return to campus, they will have to take classes online.

But the ICE has made it clear that foreign students will not be  allowed to stay in United States if they take classes online.

Criticism of their decision has already start. The Trump administration has made a terrible decision, according to the American Council of Education, which is made up of the presidents of all the universities in the United States. With the safety of the students in mind, where the idea of slow recovery is being considered, this announcement will spread panic.

Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump's rival in the upcoming presidential election,  also sharply criticized the decision of the Trump administration.

In his words, "Foreign students are being given the condition to go to class at the risk of their lives or leave the country." We have to stand up against this audacity of Trump. The safety of all students must be ensured. "

According to the Institute of International Education (IIE), there were more than one million foreign students in the United States in the 2018-19 academic year, accounting for 5.5 percent of all students enrolled in higher education in that country.

They also said that the government of that country earned 44.7 billion in 2017 through  foreign student. The highest number of students from China migrated to the United States for higher education followed by countries like India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Canada
